Plate Check connected nutrition history

Plate Check is a food-focused tool for reviewing meal details and keeping them connected to a usable history. The public workspace brings entry, correction, nutrition totals and daily summaries into one flow.

Meal details need to stay useful after they are saved.

What we built

Web application · Interface design

Keep the meal, editable nutrition fields and saved history connected. The interface emphasizes readable quantities and an obvious next action.

Review the meal name, carbohydrate estimate, calories and notes before saving. Reopening an entry preserves its occurrence and updates the nutrition totals when corrected.

  • Text, photo and voice-note meal examples
  • Editable meal details and nutrition values
  • Persistent meal history
  • Range filters and daily nutrition summaries
  • Marked meal-history export

Correct the entry before saving.

Open “Lentil soup and bread” at 56 g carbohydrate. Review and correct its fields before saving the meal.

The correction stays with the record.

Changing carbohydrates to 62 g and saving creates the third meal in this history. The same value remains visible when the record is reopened.

See the food history at a glance.

Change the history range or switch to daily nutrition. Meal count, carbohydrate totals and calories are calculated from the saved entries.
