What we can build together.
Brands, websites, and the tools behind them. OOG brings the public face of a business and the work behind the scenes into one considered experience.
What could we build together?
I design and build brands, websites, digital products, and the tools that support a business. That can mean a clearer identity, a more useful website, a client portal, an admin workspace, or a connected workflow behind the scenes.
We can start with one part or bring several together. The scope follows what the business needs to make possible.
Can you help with a problem like mine?
You do not need to arrive with a finished brief or know exactly what to ask for. Start with what is difficult to explain, awkward to use, or taking more work than it should.
The projects span different settings: bringing a neighborhood bar’s personality online, connecting measurements with quotes and job documents, and turning visual website edits into a useful implementation handoff. The common thread is making something clearer and more useful.
How much of the work can you take on?
I work across direction, identity, interface design, and development. I can carry an idea through to a working experience, or build the part that is missing from something already established.
The scope should be clear from the start: what I am creating, what already exists, and where anyone else contributes. For The Sea Star, for example, the work carries the bar’s existing illustrated identity into its website.
Can I explore the work?
Yes. The portfolio connects the visual work to the websites, products, and tools behind it. Public websites can be explored through their project links. Where client information is private, demonstrations use sample data so the work can be shown without exposing the records behind it.
Start with a project that interests you. Look at what it helps someone understand, decide, or do.
How do you decide what’s right?
I start with what someone needs to understand, decide, or do. That gives the design a purpose and the build a clear direction.
An identity should help a business express itself. An interface should make the next action understandable. The tools behind it should keep useful information connected. The visual details and the practical decisions need to support the same experience.
What changes when it comes together?
Something specific becomes possible. With ExactFrame, a visual website adjustment becomes an implementation handoff. With Datum & Plane, measurements, estimates, quotes, and job documents connect within a shared workflow.
That is the aim: a clear offer, a useful product, or a better way to carry out the work. We define the change we are trying to make, then build toward it.
Who will I work with, and how do we start?
You will work directly with GG. Bring the idea, the question, or the part that needs to work better. You do not need a polished brief to begin.
We start by clarifying the problem, what already exists, and what a useful result would look like. From there, we agree on the scope, the deliverables, and how the work will move forward.
