Get the scope right before the price is set.

OOG built Datum & Plane’s website and tools for recording a job before quoting it, keeping room details, measurements, drawings and open questions attached to the selected scope.

OOG’s contribution: Architectural website and identity application; Field Scope measurement, layout and review interfaces; revision-based quote preparation; client, job, material, schedule, invoice and document workflows.

Measure a scope and prepare a quote

Reception counter quotation — page 1

Datum & Plane fabricates architectural surfaces for healthcare, laboratories and homes. The OOG project connects the material-led website with Field Scope measurements, quotes, invoices and a workspace for clients, jobs, materials, schedules and documents.

A quote needs a clear scope: room details, measurements, drawings and unresolved site questions in one place.

What we built

Website · Identity application · Field measurement tools · Quote preparation · Operator workspace · Document workflows

A precise architectural identity connects the material-led website to the work behind each surface. Field measurement, estimating, quoting and documents sit within a connected workspace for clients, jobs and fabrication.

Field facts remain unpriced. Quote preparation takes a saved scope revision, while unresolved support conditions and responsibilities remain visible. Recorded information is not silently presented as field-verified.

Record the job before pricing it.

Cedar Annex’s reception counter is recorded in its Welcome area, with length, depth, material and datum alongside the measured plan. The same view keeps support details, makers, delivery, installation and sink-cutout questions open.

Keep facts and commercial decisions distinct.

Opening quote preparation saves the selected scope as revision 2. The quote uses that snapshot; sample rates are editable separately. Changed facts must be brought into a new snapshot.

Make the basis of the quote visible.

The same 120-by-25-inch counter yields approximately 20.83 square feet. At the illustrative $60-per-square-foot rate, the quotation shows $1,250. The drawing, selected revision and supporting-wall question remain attached, with “Field verify · Not for fabrication” visible.

The workspace beyond the quote.

Field Scope sits within a larger operator workspace for clients, jobs, materials, schedules, quotations and invoices. Document and stationery tools carry the same architectural identity into customer-facing work, while the public website explains surfaces and project guidance.
